Well, the votes are in and the producers of the new Footloose flick picked Dancing With the Stars’ babe Julianne Hough to play opposite Gossip Girl ´s Chace Crawford in the remake. They will be so cute together, movie goers will be blinded by the sheer force of their all American good looks!

Hough is a country singer as well as a gifted dancer, so are the people behind the revamp looking at a more High School Musical approach to Footloose? They very well might be. Which leaves the question: has anyone actually heard Chace sing? Ever? He seems to be the only one on Gossip Girl who hasn´t released a record… Yet.
